Our Story

I wanted to hop on here and reintroduce myself. I'm Melanie Trammell, the owner of MJ's Southernworks LLC.

I live in Union, SC with my husband of 7 years, and I'm also a proud cat mama.

I started MJ's in January 2026 with one goal in mind: helping women feel confident, comfortable, and beautiful in clothes made for real life and real women. As a plus-size woman myself, creating a space where everyone feels good in what they wear means so much to me.

I'm still learning as I go, growing this dream one step at a time, but one thing I'll always promise is this: every piece I sell is carefully picked with love and intention. If it's not something I'd wear or recommend myself, it won't make it to my boutique.

I'm so thankful for everyone who has supported me so far. New things are coming, exciting things are in the works, and I can't wait for y'all to be part of it.
